ADTS Engineer
Job Summary
The ADTS Engineer is responsible for application development, focusing on assisting customers with the proper selection of Avient materials, in order to drive revenue growth for Advanced Composites. This includes optimizing processes and conditions, educating external customers on how to utilize Avient materials, and troubleshooting issues raised by the customer. The ADTS Engineer will work closley with the Commercial team, including vetting new opportunitites.
The ADTS Engineer may be accountable for or participate in the investigating and resolving customer compliants. Additional responsibilities include developing new materials/applications, product launch testing plan and procedures development, data analysis, communication of test results, and direct support of R&D, in some cases. The ADTS Engineering Team will lead regular team calls with Commercial, Technology, and other necessary team members, to review open Service Requests and will provide updates on progress toward completion and discuss prioritization if needed. This position will primarily focus on technology and application development for composite sandwich panels but will also support other continuous fiber-reinforced composite technologies.
Essential Functions
- Development of new applications, product launch testing plans, data analysis, and communication of results to customers.
- Identify technical specifications for established Avient customers.
- Documentation and preparation of product specifications incorporating Avient products and services into customer applications.
- Assist the Quality Department in defining quality specifications for new and existing products.
- Participates in the resolution of customer complaints/issues.
- Other projects/duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Bachelors-Chemical Engineering or Equivalent Experience
- 1 year experience in R&D & Technology - Technology/R&D
