Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated ADTS Technician to support our innovation and application development efforts. The Technician will assist in ADTS work associated with production and characterization of polymer composites. This role involves executing ADTS tasks, processing material, conducting experiments, and assisting in the development of new technologies and products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically skilled, and eager to contribute to the composites team.
Essential Functions
- Operate processing equipment (Single-Screw, Twin-Screw, Injection Molding Machines, Lamination Machines and panel saws).
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
- Conduct quality checks to maintain product integrity.
- Laboratory work involving new experiments and sample preparation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of processing activities.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong technical understanding of processing equipment and safety procedures
- Ability to follow precise instructions and ensure accuracy
- Ability to work well with collegues and report technical findings in a clear, concise manner
- Software Skills - Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
- Experience in processing, manufacturing, or production environments
- Experience in an R&D or laboratory setting
- Ability to conduct data analysis and reporting
- Minimum starting pay - $60,000
