Advanced R&D Chemist:
General Summary:
Responsible for designing and conducting experiments toward the development or improvement of custom polymer compounds. Responsible for developing a testing plan, and procedure, data analysis, and communication of results. Three plus years direct, relevant experience with the ability to operate with little to no direction.
- Role to be focused around the Color & Additives business
- Knowledge of polymer processing and master batch production a benefit
- Experience of the market for dyes and pigments, particularly in relation to polymer coloration
- Experience of the market for plastic additives
- Understanding of rheological principles in relation to polymer processing and liquid dispersions
- Experience working with various polymers, in particular polyolefin and polyesters
- Understanding of the packaging market a benefit
