Digital Analyst, Infrastructure Management
Job Summary
The Analyst, Cloud Management, Digital Infrastructure, is part of a dynamic global IT organization that supports the company’s mission and focuses on innovation and sustainability, comprised of the ‘4 Ps’ – Product, Planet, People, and Performance. This role is responsible for leading regional strategic projects, configuring and implementing innovative plans, and collaborating with Avient's Digital Infrastructure and Operations teams. The Analyst will ensure high availability, reliability and security within Avient’s digital public and private cloud and manufacturing infrastructure, including for both internal and external business users and partners. This role collaborates with associates across all levels, geographies, business units and business functions to solve business challenges and achieve desired business outcomes. This analyst will have opportunity to bring new thinking to the organization, challenge the status quo, try out different approaches and make an impact not just on the immediate team, but IT and the organization overall.
Essential Functions
• Configures, deploys, administers, and maintains Avient’s regional cloud and global infrastructure environments, including but not limited to:
o Microsoft 365 Tenant Services
o Microsoft Entra ID – formerly Azure Active Directory
o Microsoft Public DNS
o M365 License Management
o Tenant Governance Compliance
o SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams Compliance
o M365 Auditing & Compliance
o Microsoft Compliance Center
o Identity & Access Management Compliance
o Azure Information Protection & Data Loss Prevention
• Provide project management for complex cloud integrations, installations, and upgrades.
• Ensure that the security, performance, reliability, and efficiency of Avient's global cloud services are maintained and continually improved.
• Troubleshoot and resolve all relevant issues identified through monitoring platforms, calls, service desk, and vendor generated tickets in accordance with established SLAs.
• Act as a liaison between appropriate end users and all other IT Teams via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
• Provides documentation for all projects, systems, and knowledgebase articles.
• Support and help maintain relationships with all relevant IT vendors.
• Participate in the IT strategic process and/or service needs.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision within global virtual teams.
• Follow instructions to achieve a high-quality outcome.
• Flexibility to work within global regional time zones, including to participate in off hours support and weekend on-call status.
• Potential global travel up to 10%.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3 - 7 years of professional experience supporting installing and configuring appropriate systems listed above.
• Appropriate Microsoft Administration or Engineer level certifications required.
• Advanced Microsoft or similar industry certifications are a benefit.

• Experience leading and contributing to infrastructure projects within a fast-paced acquisition focused culture.
Physical Demands
• Requires standing and sitting for prolonged periods of time, talking and listening.
• Typical work is in an office environment where the noise level is low to moderate.
