General Summary


This position supports plant manufacturing by utilizing quality control standards, procedures, and statistical techniques in order to develop and maintain quality standards. Position applies fundamental knowledge of basic principles, theories and concepts of industry standards and practices to support the planning, coordination and direction of quality systems for continuous improvement within the plant.




  • Assists in the development and implementation of a formalized quality system.

  • Actively participates on plant teams to promote continuous improvement of processes, procedures and work instructions. Studies, analyzes and recommends methods of improvement.

  • Supports manufacturing operations and plant support groups by providing quality data analysis.

  • Coordinates problem-solving activities within manufacturing regarding customer complaints.

  • Drives accountability for corrective actions until completion. This involves education and coordination of problem resolution activities.

  • Assists engineers to define and analyze process conditions, conduct capability studies and improve line capabilities.

  • Monitors and revises processes to help generate cost savings and improve the quality and efficiency of product/process.

  • Other projects/duties as assigned.

  • Q.C. Engineer is responsible for quality check of raw materials, in-process master batch and finished goods, sampling, analysis, calibration etc.

  • Maintain the Q.C related document

  • Carry out the analysis of rejection and use of NWSM product.

  • Attain the customer complain and implement corrective action accordingly.

  • Continuous improvement of Q.C System.

  • Maintain the highest level of housekeeping and cleanness in lab.

  • Knowledge about ISO standards & documents.

  • SAP related work

  • Updating BOM in system.




  • Diploma/Bachelor of Engineering – Polymer and Chemicals, B.Tech, CIPET or relevant education

  • Essential – Communication skills, Customer centric, critical thinking, Achieving results with urgency, approach toward continuous improvement, courageous decision making

  • Experience – Problem-solving techniques, Candidates from Polymer industries (Master batch, Compounds & Elastomers) are preferred.

  • Previous working experience in Plastic industry is Mandatory.

  • Working in Automotive industry will be added advantage.

  • This role is 6 day’s working role and nature of job is to work in all the shifts
