Qualifications

In addition to the Avient Competencies required for all jobs, the following qualifications are required for this job:

 
Required Education:
    • Minimum bachelor's degree in business or technical field. Advanced degree preferred.

Required Length & Type of Experience:
      • Minimum of 7-10 years in a marketing management role, with emphasis on translating voice of the customer into a prioritized strategic marketing plan.

      • Experience in product management, with emphasis in project management leadership for new product development activities from development through commercialization. Also including establishing pricing guidelines to manage product profitability and highlight areas of improvement by product and customer.  

      • Global experience, preferred
      • Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to develop effective internal and external business relationships

      • Must be able to travel as required for successful execution of the essential functions of the position

  • Innovation Management – drive forward-thinking and novel approaches to marketing activities

  • Organizational/Cross-functional Leadership - willingness to speak openly and operate with transparency, expecting the same from management (bi-directional accountability)
