HR GENERALIST

As an HR Generalist, you implement and design Avients human resources services, policies, and programs. In close cooperation with the HR Manager you collaborate with the Business Units in supporting decision making processes, impacting the results of the organization by recruiting, retaining, rewarding, and developing the industry’s best talents. This position assists in decision making processes and positively impacts the results of the organization by recruiting, retaining, rewarding, and developing the industry’s best talent in a manner that is cost-efficient and compliant. This is a full time position and is your entry into an exciting career path in the world of Avient.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • connecting with managers and employees for their general inquiries.
  • the recruitment process and lead onboarding activities for business unit hires.
  • driving HR policies and programs implementation for existing and new employees in the business units located at any of our sites located in the Benelux area, being among others Drachten, Louvain la Neuve, Assesse, Bierset, Pommerloch.
  • processing data in our HR information systems, e.g. salary and wage administration, health and welfare benefits inquiries, retirement plan inquiries, recruitment, HR information systems, payroll/time and attendance recording,
  • organizational development and training plans and ensuring high quality in the above mentioned.
  • creating statistics, reports and presentations to enable HR Management and Business in decision making.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education

  • Bachelors-Human Resources or equivalent - Essential
  • Masters-Human Resources or equivalent - Desired

Experience 
Essential 3 Years Minimum in:

  • Human Resources
  • Interviewing
  • Recruiting and Staffing
  • Performance Management
  • HR Systems 
  • Very good knowledge about Belgian, Dutch or Luxemburg labour regulations and laws
