Human Resources Manager (McHenry, IL)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
-
Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business, or related field.

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in human resources, including talent acquisition, human resources information systems, training and organizational development, employee relations, compensation, and benefits in a manufacturing environment.

Experience supporting a business with commercial and operations associates.
Additional Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to develop effective internal and external business relationships.

Bilingual (English & Spanish).

Organizational/Cross-functional Leadership - willingness to speak openly and operate with transparency, expecting the same from management (bi-directional accountability).

Influencing/Interpersonal Savvy/Collaboration – rely on consensus management and persuasion to lead associates toward common goals.

Scope
This position supports mainly US associates for the McHenry site in Illinois. This position may require travel to Corporate Headquarters in Avon Lake, Ohio or other Avient sites occasionally.
