Job Summary:
Avient is seeking a part-time student IT associate in Cleveland, Ohio to join the Corporate IT organization, which provides global solutions and services to enable Avient and its customers to reach world-class performance. This position focuses on projects involving the expanding portfolio of systems that Avient IT manages and leveraging new technology to support our mission of providing a highly reliable and cost effective infrastructure for a growing global company. In this position, you will establish relationships with peers and leaders, learn fundamentals and be provided feedback from the program manager.
This position is full-time and fixed-term and will work a 40 hour/week schedule with an expected end date of August 8, 2025.

Types of activities may include:
· Assisting with building and maintaining the IT infrastructure
· Recommending and implementing technical solutions in line with business requirements
· Daily support of global business operations
· Creating and enhancing technical documentation and reports
· Programming enhancements and automation
· troubleshooting to optimize system performance
· Partnering globally with business associates
Essential Qualifications:
· Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree at an accredited four-year institution, graduating in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026, with a demonstrated interest and aptitude for information technology
· Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
Preferred Qualifications
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
· Problem solving / decision-making / sound judgment
· Ability to multitask, manage time and prioritize tasks based on customer needs
· Attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and procedures
