Job Summary
Are you passionate about people and eager to dive into the world of Human Resources? We're on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a supportive and professional environment. Specifically, you will be working on Sustainable Employability initiatives for our associates in the Netherlands (350 people in 2 locations, Heerlen & Geleen)

Essential Functions
•    Support the HR team in administrative tasks and projects related to Sustainable Employability.
o    Participate in organizing and executing events and training sessions.
o    Coordinate communication around all the Sustainable Employability activities.
o    Administrate costs and internal hours for subsidy purposes

Education and Experience
•    Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Studies, or a related field

Additional Qualifications

•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
•    A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
•    Basic understanding of HR principles and practices is a plus.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential

Environmental, Health, Safety, & Security (EHS&S) Requirements

•    Avient integrates EHS&S into all aspects of our operations. Each position at Avient is responsible for complying with all applicable EHS&S requirements. Additionally, employees and management are responsible for reporting all EHS&S incidents immediately to ensure we keep EHS&S a priority within the organization.  

Security includes physical security and cyber security.
