Education and Experience

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or Material Science is required. Advanced Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or Material Science is Preferred.

·         Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience. 10 plus years of relevant industry experience is preferred.

·         Demonstrated success in the development of elastomers technology to meet end use needs

·         Proven technical understanding of polymer science and engineering principles.

·         Possess expertise in one or more of the following areas is required: TPEs, TPVs, TPOs, Silicone elastomers and Thermoset elastomers.     

·         Possess expertise in one or more of the following areas is preferred: polymer structure-properties relationships, polymer processing, polymer rheology and polymer characterization.

 

Additional Qualifications

·         Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.

·         Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

·         Excellent communication skills.

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
