Maintenance Associate-Competitive Pay

Education and Experience

·      Minimum High School Diploma

·      Requires an Electrical License/certification.

·      Minimum 5 years work experience in the manufacturing environment

·      Specific trade knowledge and 5 years’ experience in electrical and/or       mechanical systems is required.

·     Requires a solid background in maintaining an industrial facility and the   manufacturing equipment it contains.

Physical Demands

·         While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 55 lbs.

·         While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office noise levels to loud.

•    Requires the use of safety equipment as dictated by the work area such as safety glasses and shoes, dust mask, hard hat, face shield, hearing protection, chemical suit, gloves, aprons, etc.

•   The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with the exception of high noise areas. Proper safety personnel equipment needs to be used while performing this job and that equipment is dictated by the plant Safety guidelines.

•   Occasionally works in heights exceeding 30 feet.

•   While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, dust, fumes, airborne particles, chemical dust, risk of electric shock, vibration, non-hazardous chemical agents, and outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
