MANAGER, EH&S
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
experience
· Five (5) plus years in EHS field in
an industrial/manufacturing environment
Additional Qualifications
· Preventative Systems – Ability to
apply proactive methodologies to prevent failure
· Risk Management – Understanding of
hazard identification, evaluation and control
· Organizational Involvement –
Ability to foster an environment where everyone’s engaged
· Competency – Ability and skill sets
in EHS related fields
· EHS Management Systems –
Understanding of the structure, importance and execution of policies,
processes and procedures that support Corp EHS objectives
· Standard Work – The ability to
break down work into elements that are efficient, clear and repeatable
· Strategic Alignment – Create, track
and communicate EHS performance and incorporate into overall planning/goals
· Advanced
knowledge of federal, state and local regulations governing environmental,
health and safety standards
· Competency in computer and PC
software including email, internet, and MS office.
· Must have advanced verbal

Physical Demands
Requires
standing and sitting for extended periods of time, talking and listening. Must
be able to walk and use hands. Occasionally requires bending, stooping,
climbing ladders and stairs. May occasionally be required to lift, push or
pull up to 50 pounds. Typically work is in a manufacturing environment where
noise level is loud. Generally requires the use of personal protective
equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, hard hat,
respiratory protection. Exposure to outside weather conditions is routine. May
be exposed to working in extreme heat and humidity. May also be exposed on
occasion to dust or fumes.
