Marketing Communications Specialist

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Communications, Journalism, or Business / Marketing.
• 1-2 years of marketing communications experience (or internship) that includes digital marketing and communications projects.
• Experience with web admin tools, web analytics, and usage in a business to business setting.
• Strong project planning skills including strong attention to detail and commitment to rigor and discipline in project management practices. Willingness to learn and utilize LSS techniques to project planning and development.
• Passion for the technical side of creative marketing communications deliverables such as video, web, and presentations. Willingness to learn graphic, video, and web-based creative software that includes Adobe products such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and Audition.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Able to establish credibility with PolyOne marketers as a communications professional capable of leading in the development and implementation of communications strategies and plans.
• Ability to apply complex analytical and critical thinking skills - Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
• Proficient in the English language (written and spoken).
