ABOUT THE TEAM
Department: Color and Additive Europe
Reports to: Plant Manager
Team Size: +10 members
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
- Coordinate ISO 9001, ISO 13485 & ICSS+ activities & processes.
- Define and coordinate the Quality Management Strategy to support ISO 13485
- Manages, develops and coaches Quality Control Operators and Quality Specialists on their tasks and ensures sufficient analytical capabilities in the lab.
- Ensures Change Control process as part of ISO 13485.
- Represents the plant and Avient in all aspects of professional dealings with customers, the technology community and the commercial group.
- Resolves and communicates customer complaints and handles quality related questions from internal and external sources.
- Interface with external certifying bodies, regulatory authorities and customer in relation to audits.
- Oversees investigations, root cause analysis together with corrective and preventive actions on all plant-related customer complaints, CAPA process and other deviations.
- Assesses Quality and Health Care training needs and provides training to the sites associates and more targeted training when needed.
- Permanently scouts for process improvements applying lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Partner effectively with sales, production, product stewardship and Color designers’ team.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Education in chemical engineering or similar education.
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in similar position.
- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
- Experience in leading teams.
- Passion for training and guiding others in their projects.
- Ability to create commitment to quality awareness on the site.
- Experience in Lean Six Sigma – Continuous Improvement preferred.
- Trained to Green belt or higher level preferred.
