R&D Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 Accurate, on time analytical testing to meet customer requirements.
 Formulation of colorant or additives into liquid carrier system to produce robust
products.
 Testing of formulated products in applications particularly in new market
applications in addition to injection molding.
 Small scale sample preparation for customers.
 Entry of formulations information onto database and filing of relevant
information.
 Participates in resolution of customer complaint/issues.
 Timely output of work to meet tight deadlines.
 Communicate effectively with colleagues in Sales, Production and other
Technical functions.
 Continuous improvement of personal and departmental performance.
Below are additional duties
 Development of liquid color for new application for example for fiber, film,
polymerizations etc.
 Other assignments in daily lab works like matching standard management, lab
5S lead, lab safety, lab raw material recording etc.

Essential
 Communication in English. Communicates clearly and concisely
 Fundamental knowledge of polymer materials, functional additives, analytical
device, like TGA, DSC, GC etc.
 Accurate.

 Good literature searching skills.

Desirable
 Previous experience in a similar role.
 Basic knowledge of polymer material formulation components, functional
additives, pigment, dyes; Polymer material process.
