SAP MFG Supply Chain Analyst
Job Summary
We are seeking an IT applications analyst that will work across an array of processes and systems in the Avient Supply Chain. You will join a global organization operating in over 40 countries and be responsible for implementing and enhancing world class supply chain strategies within SAP, and other tools we use for Sourcing, Forecasting, Scheduling, and Sales & Operation Planning. Your business analyst skills will be key in partnering with our business and shared services to evaluate opportunities to improve and streamline our processes Plan-to-Produce area.
You will collaborate with the Supply Chain Center of Excellence on key initiatives including :
- Optimize the setup in SAP for manufacturing sites and warehouses to ensure efficiency.
- Understand the key fields in master data necessary for MRP to run efficiently.
- Assist the business through process improvements and automation.
Essential Functions

o Developing long-term strategies.
· Providing both end-user support as well as building and deploying enhancements to the existing set of solutions within our Global Template (programing skills not required but helpful).
· Researching and developing options or alternatives to meet business requirements while leveraging standard functionality when possible, and custom solutions when necessary.
· Makes configuration and coding changes within the SAP PP module with implementation experience in PPDS and other ancillary applications Avient uses for Sourcing, Forecasting, Scheduling, and Sales & Operation Planning.
· SAP FIORI experience is a must. Knowledge of Clean Core concept would be preferable.
· Understanding of Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of different manufacturing processes (discrete, process, etc.) is crucial to understand how materials flow logic through the production system
· Transform Supply Chain applications by developing and cultivating key relationships throughout the business
· Maintain relevant technical and business process documentation to ensure streamlined support and knowledge transfer within areas of responsibility
· Provides break-fix support to any solution and system. Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting the business.
· On-call availability to resolve critical system issues during non-stand hours on a rotational basis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
• 1-3 years of experience in functional analyst roles
• Experience with enterprise ERP systems required. SAP ECC, SAP S/4, or similar preferred.

• Communicates effectively with both technical IT audiences, and non-technical business audiences.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and creativity applied to IT systems and business processes.
