Senior Manufacturing Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

·         Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Preferred degrees in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.

·         3+ years of experience as a process engineer required - preferred in compounding and plastic pelletizing

·         Hands-on process engineering experience in high volume manufacturing environment.

·         Experience in plastics and/or rubber processing (compound/mix/extrusion/pelletization) preferred

·         Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change

·         In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices

·         Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing transformative technologies

·         Ability to provide strategic guidance aligning process engineering efforts with overall business objectives

·         Process troubleshooting and documentation specialist

·         Excellent mentorship skills

·         Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude

·         Timely and accurate completion of projects and assignments

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office noise levels to loud.
