Senior Production Operator- Starting at $20/hr

Must have 5+ years of experience in plastics extrusion, molding or related field.

Must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and product recipes/materials.

· Must have mathematical skill to add, subtract, multiply and divide and to apply these skill to weights, measures of volume and distance.

· Must effectively communicate in writing and verbally in English.

· Competency in computer and PC software including email, internet, and MS office.

· Must have manual dexterity for hand tools of various types.

· Must have problem solving skills and some mechanical aptitude.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk and/or hear. Occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds and occasionally handle up to 250 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Requires the use of safety equipment as dictated by the work area such as safety glasses and shoes, dust mask, respirator, hearing protection, bump hat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with the exception of high noise areas. Proper personal safety equipment needs to be used while performing this job and that equipment is dictated by the plant safety guidelines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to dust, fumes, airborne particles, chemical dust, vibration, non-hazardous chemical agents.
