Senior Site Engineer
COMPLEXITY OF THE JOB:
Process changes made by the Sr. Site Engineer will directly impact Manufacturing performance and cost. They can directly impact operability of the plant - which can affect cost, output, and employee morale. Reporting generated by this person will be shared locally within Avient Protective Materials, and globally within Avient Protective Materials.
KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:
Minimum requirements for this position are an MS in a related technical field plus 5 years technical experience in a plant or research capacity. OR BS/BA in a related technical field plus 7 years technical experience in a plant or research capacity OR AA/AS in a related technical field plus 8 years of technical experience in a plant or research capacity or 9 years of technical related experience.
REQUIRED LEVEL OF EXPERIENCES:
· Demonstrated technical process support and development ability.
· Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Must be willing to respond to all types of emergencies and spend overtime hours in monitoring scheduled work when required.
· Knowledge of environmental regulations related to fiber and/or UD production activities.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Windows® applications to include Microsoft Excel®; Microsoft Outlook®.
