SOURCING SPECIALIST

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Business Administration or related field
• 1+ years related experience in sourcing, purchasing, inventory control and/or supply chain planning; experience in chemical or plastics industry an asset

Skills and Experience:

• Proven ability to make logical and sound decisions Strong analytical and organizational skills – ability to extract insight from data via analysis and presentation format
• Effectively identifies and processes relevant information to frame and solve problems, grasps and applies unfamiliar concepts quickly
• Communicates and presents critical information succinctly and effectively. Good presentation skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage stakeholder expectations
• Results oriented – ability to define and deliver key success factors
• Good conflict management and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated. Demonstrates initiative
• Ability to work effectively through uncertainty and ambiguity
• Comfortable working within a matrix structure with responsibility to many stakeholders
• Can be relied upon to meet commitments and act ethically in the best interests of the company Proficiency in MS Office required
• SAP and inventory/purchasing systems knowledge an asset
