Sr. R&D Engineer/Chemist

Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or Material Science, with a focus on polymer materials development, structure-property relationships, or polymer processing. Flame retardants is a plus. Five plus years of post-graduate experience in the plastics/polymer field is required.

• Ability to develop a deep understanding of the technologies needed to successfully complete projects on time.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Quick learner that can efficiently drive a project to completion.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated project management capability.
• Motivated with a passion to succeed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Be curious, creative and are willing to find new solutions as well as proactively look at new opportunities.
• Ability to collaborate as part of an international team
• Ability to present ideas and results in a logical manner with clear communication across the organization.
