Job Specification – Sr Specialist, Business Services - Master Data Management (MDM)

Job location: Pune 

Job Summary

To prepare and releases in time and with full accuracy of tasks related to Material / Vendor / Customer Master Data. To continuously seek out better ways of performing the processes and support process improvement initiatives. To successfully perform other assigned Analytics functions under the directions. To ensure standard procedures and work instructions followed and timely reviewed for improvement ideas. To co-ordinate and establish analytics culture with cluster managers.

Should be ready to work in NORAM shift

 

Essential Functions

  Essential Function 1: Receivables Operation Management

·       Understand and apply MDM processes, policies, procedures and internal control standards

·       Monitor timely and in acurate provisioning of master data requests. Drive the implementation of corrective actions

·       Handling client queries and escalations, ensuring feedback to client queries within agreed turnaround time

·       Timely monitoring data quality and implement correctve checks in SAP.

·       Monitor and manage capacities and drive for productivity by contineous improvement ideas and implementation

·       Perform daily activities on a professional level to improve the MDM KPI results 

Essential Function 2: Project Management

·       Support, communicate and follow up with Project lead/ Stakeholders about specific projects and their goals

·       Coordinate and schedule execution of the project

·       Review, assess and evaluate execution of the project on a regular basis.

·       Develop project reports on a timely basis and ensure completion of the project in a timely manner

·       Maintain, manage, track, document all project reports and prepare cost/benefits tracking

 

Essential Function 3: People Aspects

·       Participate in daily team briefing/ weekly team meetings

·       Team oriented and process driven. Proactive and one team attitude

·       Assist Team Manager on building lean culture in the team for efficient service delivery

 

Essential Function 4: End-to-End process improvements

·       Implementation of quality / continuous improvement projects

·       Support process improvements initiatives and related projects

Essential Function 5: Relationship Management

·       Maintain positive work relationships with all stakeholders

·       Assist in establishing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external customers and ensure customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education 

·       BE- IT, MBA, MCA, Other Competitive Degree. English is must, Desirable other foreign European languages

 

 Business Experience 

Essential: over 7 years of experience in Master Data Management area and adequate process knowledge in SAP. Knowledge of MDG module will be added advantage.

 

Additional Qualifications

Deliver excellent quality identify process inefficiencies propose process improvements Good customer interaction.  Play a key role in analysing problems and come up with creative solutions, as well as producing methodologies for effective data management. Excellent communication skills Flexible work style capable to work without supervision. Good team handling and building capabilities.
