General Summary:

We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Technical Services Manager to join our team in the Screen-Printing Inks Industry. The role will lead our Applications Lab and Color Matching teams, ensuring their seamless operation while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Safety:

Champion and enforce a culture of safety as the top priority in all lab operations. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, health guidelines, and environmental regulations. Provide training on safety measures and ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.

 

Project Prioritization and Completion:

Coordinate and manage resources for streamlined project completion (color match, technical service, and quality control requests). Align and coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure all business objectives are met. Ensure that all lab work is accurately documented and reported promptly.

 

Lab Operations, Equipment, and Procurement:

Ensure the availability of necessary lab materials for ongoing work. Procure lab consumables and equipment necessary for efficient lab operations. Implement and maintain inventory control measures to optimize the use of resources. Oversee the maintenance of application and color equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

 

Technical Support and Training:

Provide expert technical support on printing techniques and product applications to both internal teams and external partners. Conduct training sessions for internal staff, customers, and distributors to enhance their understanding of our products and services. Support technical queries through various channels, including phone and email, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.

 

Team Support:

Lead, develop, and motivate the technical services team to achieve high-performance standards. Foster a “Great Place to Work” culture.

 

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

 

Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and report on team and lab performance. Regularly communicate performance metrics to stakeholders and implement improvements based on data analysis. #LI-CB1

Education and Experience:

·       Bachelor's degree in science, Business or Art would be beneficial, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

·       Knowledge of screen-printing techniques and product applications in the textile decorating industry is required

·       Proven experience in managing a technical/customer services environment or screen-printing operation

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team leadership and stakeholder engagement.

·       Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools for work management, performance tracking and reporting.

·       Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Environmental, Health, Safety, & Security (EH&S) Requirements:
