If you are a digital native, with a built-in interest for product design, and a natural attraction towards digital imaging; if you have a taste for AR and VR; if you believe that physical reality and virtual reality are complementary and not alternative; if CAD is the natural, fully controlled extension of your drawing skills; if your creative soul has also a taste for math; if you refuse to accept that aesthetic harmony is subjective; if you are ready to challenge the status-quo; if preconceived ideas are stranger to you; then, maybe, joining the Team of ColorWorks™ EMEA as the new Industrial Designer and CAD Specialist, is an opportunity you might want to grab.
Creating product designs and generating 3D data; joining forces and skills with our Color Scientist, to lead the journey towards digitalization and photorealistic rendering; partnering with Conceptual and Graphic Designers to translate immaterial and emotional needs submitted by Customers in technically feasible products will be among your responsibilities, as much as partnering with both Regional Marketing structure and Local Sales organizations.
You will be part of the Global ColorWorks network: as such, the professional horizon and the scope of your activity will be global.
ColorWorks is an highly interconnected ecosystem: communication is key and readiness to speak in public is a plus. Your control of English is full, a second main language full control is highly welcome, willingness to learn Italian is appreciated.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
· CAD
· Creation of product designs
· Generation of 3D data and 2D drawings
· Support to activities connected to 3D photorealistic rendering
· Contribute to the exploration of viable solutions for digitalization of color development
· Contribute to evolution of design tools and CAD applications
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
· You have completed successfully technical education (university, technical college)
· You are a confident user of 3D-CAD ecosystems
· You like to be an active part of an interdisciplinary team
· You know how to conceptualize and present
· You think creatively
· You have full control of written and spoken English
· You have full control of a second language
· Experience in plastics processing is a plus
· You are open to travel (4-5 times per year)
