ABOUT THE TEAM

Department: Specialty Engineered & Sustainable Materials

Reports to: Area Sales Manager
Team Size: 5+ members

Sales Area : Southern  part of France under Mulhouse/ Nantes & Romandie (Switzerland)

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

·       Responsible to take care of existing customers and develop profitable growth in the area 

·       Focus will be on potential target customers based on an Avient broad portfolio 

·       Ability to sell at all levels of organization and build relationships that ensure Avient will continue to get the first and last     look.

·       Approach the sales process with a high degree of professionalism and effectiveness by successful utilization of customer centric selling skills and tools, prospecting & new account calls, development of a robust sales funnel, avoidance of bad debts, cross selling, and effective CRM system management

·       Understand key players, applications, requirements, trends, and needs, as well as Avient’s potential and share within the targeted industry. Become an industry and product expert to leverage successes across the industry

·       Coordinate closely with regional sales teams as well as collaborating with the technical area as necessary to accelerate and drive profitable growth through solutions selling to targeted accounts. 

·       Monitor the competition to better understand issues and threats and develop to eliminate barriers. 

·       Implement Avient’s, pricing and market strategies as well as business practices. Negotiate customer contracts and value packages to insure an acceptable return on Avient resources invested. 

Participate in strategy development, help position the business and develop the offer.

Assist in defining the target markets, and commercial strategy.

-        WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

·       Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or polymer-sciences related degree.

·       5 years experience in sales  in a similar industry (chemical, plastics, automotive)

·       Ability to build qualitative long terms relationships and close deals. Strong negotiation, influencing skills

·       Strong business acumen in order to be able to identify opportunities, assemble creative sales programs and demonstrate competitive advantage

·       MS Office ,Salesforce.com will be strongly considered

·       Languages: French and professional English

·       Open to  travels   (ca.   50-70% of working time)

·       Home office  ( around Lyon region if possible)

·       Sustainability oriented
