Technology Group Lead

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

• BE/ B. Tech in Polymer science with 15-20 years of experience of handling lab.
• M. Tech/ PhD in Polymers Science or Engineering and 10-15 years of experience.

Additional Qualifications:

• Use of statistical software (StatEase, Minitab, SigmaPro or similar) for executing DOEs
• Strong competencies in using Microsoft Word for documentation and report writing
• Strong competencies in use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Project for research needs
• Knowledge of Six Sigma DMAIC or other similar processes highly desirable

Competencies:

• Excellent presentation and technical communication (written & oral) skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills required to develop detailed project timelines with key milestones and deliverables.
• The candidate must be collaborative and work effectively across cross-functional teams to drive projects from lab-to-commercial scale.
• The ideal candidate is an independent thinker and self-motivated to address technical challenges.

Requires the use of safety equipment as dictated by the work area such as safety glasses and shoes, dust mask, hard hat, respirator, face shield, hearing protection, chemical suit, gloves, aprons, etc. Work is inside and the typical noise level is loud. Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
